The Power of Creativity (5-9)

Welcome reader
This blog is still discussing the book "the power of creativity". This time I will review chapter five to the end.
Happy reading

5. Find creative master

When you face a problem that may not be understood by others, keep calm and believe that you are able to overcome the problem. According to the author we should look for a great mentor who can understand your shortcomings and can help you overcome areas where you need help. You will become accomplished and creative if you have a mentor to guide you. A great mentor will help you connect ideas in exciting ways, think on higher level and achieve your creative goals faster. Therefore, when you become more skilled at your craft, start questioning some of your mentor’s ideas and teachings. They might not like this push-back, and many mentor/student relationships end acrimoniously. However, if you go into this type of relationship with your eyes open, you will be prepared for the inevitable end of the mentor/student relationship.

6. STRENGTHEN YOUR MIND AND YOUR BODY

In this section, the author clearly shared his experience when he was at the lowest point of his life, so he had to lose his job and feel lost in trying to find another job. Then he received the answer to all his confusion and suffering by reading several biographies of great artists who showed that creativity requires clarity, level-headedness, and that pure gravitas will come only if you are healthy and strong.
Not only by reading the biography, but also by run and meditate will help you embrace positive change in many different ways. Both activities involve focusing on the breath at length, just as aspiring artists must learn to concentrate on the ideas before them.

Your pursuit of physical and mental strength and endurance should support your creative work, not the other way around.

7. INVEST IN YOUR SIDE PROJECTS

When you still have a permanent job you also need a side project, because a side project will prevent you from becoming burnt-out. Side project referred to here is like when you’re messing around and jamming, when it’s just for kicks, when nobody gets hurt, get paid or get laid it’s a side project. In essence, the side project is all the fun you have when all the other work is done. If you feel you have no energy, the passion, or good ideas to face into this today. Pick up your side project and works on that instead.

8. GO TO WAR AGAINST YOUR FEARS

When you feel selfish fears you should be able to fight your fears and start your work / your creativity and show the world that you are able to bring them up.
If you are having trouble starting. Remember: It is your job to turn up and work on your big ideas. Furthermore, Author discusses various types of fears about something and the author also gives way to deal with and resolve it.

9. LASTING CHANGE, JUST AROUND THE CORNER

In this last chapter, the writer returns to the reader that to get to the present position, he has also gone through a difficult journey just like the other beginners. At the end the author wrote "Remember, to be bold with your creative experiments, challenge your assumptions, put one foot in front the other and keep going. The road ahead is long and winding, but you are bolder, stronger and more powerful than you can imagine. The end
